StingRay Custom Optical Assemblies

All of the optical systems featured throughout our website originated as a request to StingRay. In fact, StingRay's initial business model was to support those customers looking for unique, manufacturable and cost effective solutions for their imaging requirements. Over the course of the five years that StingRay has been in the business of developing custom optical sub-assemblies, we have encountered requests for all areas of the optical spectrum. Some of those request include two color, broadband, and multi-spectral systems.  Our customers have ranged over a broad number of fields and applications from laboratory, ground based, airborne, UAV and space based environments. Our products are comprised of refractive optical elements, reflective surfaces of varying materials, and catadioptric solutions which are a combination of both element types.  Examples of specific types of solutions including passively and actively athermalized designs,  cryogenic, scene projectors, collimators, macro style, microscopes, wide field of view lens designs (also referred to as fish eye lenses), the all encompassing panoramic lenses, and motorized and manual zoom optics.
