Opto-Mechanical Engineer

Carlos Mendez joined the StingRay Optics team in January 2011 as an Opto-Mechanical Engineer. He is a 2010 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), with degrees in both Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering. While studying at RPI, Carlos competed in the 2008 F.I.R.S.T. Robotics competition, designing a sophisticated robotic arm. Along with his friendly smile, Carlos also brings a host of new ideas and innovations to our engineering team!
